Engineering & Manufacturing Capabilities
A fully equipped workshop and practical multi-disciplinary team allow SAVCON to move efficiently from design intent to production-ready output.
High-performance fibre laser cutting with premium edge quality and fast lead times
At Savcon we know the better the machine, the better the job. This is why we invest in technologically advanced fibre laser machines with bed sizes from 3000mm by 1500mm, up to 10kW power, and a cutting capacity of up to 30mm thickness.
With machine specialists and in-house expertise, we deliver high-quality laser cutting with short lead times, while also offering laser etching and marking to improve downstream production efficiency and accuracy.
Precision-led process
This cutting method uses a high-powered, computer-guided laser beam to precision cut base materials with exceptional consistency and accuracy. Because there is no physical wear on the laser beam, cut quality remains extremely consistent.
Built for production efficiency
We always use nitrogen for cutting up to 12mm thick, ensuring excellent edge quality and superior preparation for secondary finishing or paint application, while laser etching and marking support faster downstream fabrication.
Key benefits
Quick turnaround times due to multiple machines and short lead times.
Highly accurate cutting with excellent tolerances and repeatability.
High cut quality with a clean edge finish and virtually no taper.
Ability to cut intricate shapes, small apertures, and detailed profiles.
Laser etching for hole positions and bend lines to reduce fabrication time.
Fibre laser technology supports lower energy usage and a cleaner process.
